Sony launches flagship HT-A7000 soundbar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support

Sony has launched two new immersive audio systems including its new flagship HT-A7000 soundbar setup.

The Sony HT-A7000 supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio, thanks to two upward-firing speakers for overhead sound, along with two beam tweeters and five front speakers, plus a built-in dual subwoofer.

Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine tech means that the HT-A7000 can position sound in vertical space for overhead sound, without the need for in-ceiling speakers.
